Since you have seen fit to publish such unkind gossip about my mistress, I would like to take the opportunity to set the record straight. I thank Mr. Toby of the post office for helping me with my letters and finding the right words to speak my mind.

It is no secret that when Miss Jillian Kinsey became the wife of Mr. Lewis Bradford, her background did not match his. He is a baron’s son and she a groundskeeper’s daughter.
